Punches goes Green!

In mid-2014, the Directors decided for both environmental and financial reasons that investing in a renewable or green energy source here at our HQ in Doncaster was a necessity.

Environmentally, we are committed to cutting our carbon footprint and protecting the environment. Over the past 10 years, we’ve taken numerous steps to lower our energy consumption, but we faced many challenges as the business expanded to keep our emissions as low as we aimed.

We purchased 84 250w panels for our south facing roof, capable of producing enough electricity to keep a small street of houses powered for a year and approached Greendeal Contracts to install the system.

We now have the capability to produce 40% of our current electricity needs ourselves, leading to a smaller carbon footprint and helping us do our part to counter the effects of global warming and protect mother earth!
